 Hello world, today was a very good day for me. It really went by kind of slow but going to my American Literature class helped. In class today we learned more about Langston Hughes and another poem he wrote titled "Mother to Son". We analyzed this poem and really went into depth about it. The whole theme of the poem was that life is is too short and that you should never give up. I really enjoyed this poem. For me, the poem doesn't compare to the poem we analyzed yesterday titled " The Negro Speaks of Rivers"by Langston Hughes. So far I'm absolutely loving reading and analyzing the Langston Hughes poems. I hope that in class we keep the lessons just like this.
